BUTTERFLY GARDEN |
The new Khao Lak Butterfly and
Insect Garden is a piece of paradise, where different
trees and plants and flowers grow, where butterflies flutter
by and where you can find a big number of various insects,
which are common in our area, but hard to find out in the
jungle.
This is also an educational experience, where you can see the different life cycles of the butterflies, from larvae to the grown ups. Gigantic moths, with a wing span of more than 20 cm are bred in the insect garden as well. You can easily spend a few hours there, just sit in the shade and watch the butterflies and enjoy the atmosphere.
